The juxtaposition of clutching close the security of both a stuffie and a blade, because she knows she won't be left alone or have her upset respected. Ugh! Meanwhile Duane's terrible as ever about saying in sixty-five words what he could simply say in two, but that look in the third panel says it all for me. They'll sort it out :)

there is something so appropriate about Duane realising that now is NOT the time. pretty much everything that has gone wrong in his life recently has been because of preaching. The man needs to learn when to just shut up with his philosiphising and grandstanding, and just try be a good person. Actions speaks louder than words and all.
