I could see an closed ending where they just live on the planet, maybe if they'd spent the last scene establishing some more of that instead of checking in on Kris. I'd probably enjoy a second season, I'm not overly upset there isn't going to be one. As for the baby Levi at the end, we saw that the flower Barry put on the ship was the same type of flower that Levi found before gaining sentience. While Levi was plausibly close enough that a flower containing a baby Levi could be at the Demeter, but it's a stretch. If it had done the same thing as it did to Levi but with a different part of the ship it came into contact with, that would've made more sense. I'm glad Hollow is back in cutesy form, though also don't appreciate how they got there. I don't want them to be friends with Kamen again, I'm not sure such a thing is possible. I kinda wanted Kamen to have more consequences for his actions. Kinda sucks he caused this whole thing and he's only mildly traumitised. He should have been caught by that man-eating plant Terrance got caught in. Though I *suppose* it doesn't make sense for the dangerous things to only target people I think deserve it more.
