Name rambling: Usagi's is 月野うさぎ (Tsukino Usagi), which that 月 (tsuki) is moon and the 野 (no) here is field. Interestingly, 野ウサギ (nousagi) means Japanese hare / wild rabbit, so that's another pun hidden in her name. I think I mentioned earlier Usagi means rabbit, and the "rabbit of the moon" pun. Jupiter's is 木野まこと (Kino Makoto), the 木 (ki) is tree and the 野 (no) same as Usagi's. まこと (makoto) isn't in kanji, but it if was it would be 誠 which means truth/reality/sincerity/honestly/ect. (the Makoto part of her name reminded me of Naegi Makoto, his kanji is 苗木誠, so her name having tree as well makes them more similar and I wonder how much in coincidence versus trees having a makoto feel to them.) Her name kind of has a vague pun (I am not using this word right anymore) of "honestly of the tree" Ami's is 水野亜美 (Mizuno Ami). 水 (mizu) is water, and the same 野 as the previous two. So we can expect the pun to be [ ] of the water. 亜 (a) is a difficult kanji, the meanings I'm getting are Asia/rank next/come after/-ous, so uh, let's just say it's adding a pretty "a" sound. 美 is beautiful. So, beauty of the water. We didn't see how anyone else's is written, so they'll have to wait. "Rei" has several options, really depends on how they write it. "Mamoru" probably isn't written 守る, because that is not a name, but if it was it would mean "to protect" which fits.
