Vilmu

The creators have said they'd want to make a new arc with 3 seasons + a prequel about the ancestor called the Orphan Queen.

Oh, and about the king's fate: Viren suggested he'd do a soul-switch with someone (a magic snake normally eats souls, but he has a rare two-headed one that can switch them between two bodies.) The king strictly refused, because he did not wish to sacrifice someone else, but also largely because he was just too prideful as a king to do such a thing. The king is last seen arguing with Viren and angering him by ordering him on his knees (the king's bird is with them.) Viren is then seen guarding the king's door and doesn't let Callum enter. The king's death is portrayed very mysteriously and vaguely, giving many viewers the impression there's something else going on (that or they had to censor the violence at the beginning of the show.). Later Viren (when he's about to become the king) mocks the caged bird, giving many viewers the impression the king's soul is inside after all. One of the creators later stated during a Comic Con that the theory is untrue, causing a lot of fans to wonder why all of that was included and presume it was the original plan but they changed their minds. The magic snakes briefly appeared later as monsters of the week, but otherwise did not have any relevancy. The bird was last seen flying away after it was accidentally freed during a fight at the end of season 2.

I guess it’s an interesting theory and clearly plausible (and I don’t really care when creators lie when asked for spoilers at convention panels), but at this point it just feels silly for him to be alive still.

Really don't like the Harrow reveal. I never liked it even when it was a popular theory. It undermines Ezran and Callum development with their grieving of him. Makes all the plot surrounding him seem pointless.

The creators stated before the season even came out that they wanted to do a 3rd arc, but I feel like if they didn't know if they'd get more seasons they shouldn't have left so many plot threads open (and open new ones). It makes for a good season or arc finale but a pretty bad series finale. But who knows, they haven't confirmed whether we're getting new seasons yet or not, so here's to hoping we get more🤞

Oh also, one of the creators of the show was the head writer of Avatar, so that's why there was so many references and VA crossover (Aaravos was Koh the Face Stealer). You might know this already but you didn't mention it, so I didn't know.
