The not-sitar those two musicians were playing seems to be Pipa. With the fingerprinting, it's more believable that Maomao is just analysing how the bowl was held rather than who these specific fingerprints belong to. However, wikipedia has information on fingerprints being used for identification purposes in ancient China, so they were just ahead on that one. I have no clue *how* people thousands of years ago could check, but if they weren't able to they wouldn't have been using that method. With Lihaku, I imagine he doesn't exactly get many days off. Some random girl coming up to him and asking for him to use them for her benefit? I can understand why he'd be peeved. Still, if he didn't want to be taken up on the offer, he shouldn't have been giving out hairpins. Also, double weekly episodes? 🤩 I was not expecting this!

Amazing to learn on the fingerprinting, it’s not so much the picking up of prints that surprises me, but rather the ability to compare it to peoples fingers (difficult without the right technique to take people’s prints) To be fair to him, it seems he was legitimately handing those out so the girls who didn’t get one wouldn’t feel left out, so I do sympathize a bit on that front. Lol it might be a daily show if I didn’t have so much else to do.
