I want to clear up the timeline a little bit, as you seem to think the three brothers made the part used in the ceremony? Their dad made the part, and then he died. Maomao's comment was that it would be better for the culprit if things stopped there and the secret died with the dad. However, after the replacement was made and the dad died, Maomao was asked to help the brothers with his will, and so the secret was discovered again. I could continue the line of logic, but I'll leave it there for now. I love the little details where Maomao's leg is still An Issue, with the chair and accidentally reopening if when she moves around too much. I shouldn't be surprised with how good this show is with all the medical stuff. We got a fair bit of info about Jinshi this episode. There is an extra detail based on the type of clothing he's wearing, of the "it's obvious if you know it" kind of variety, if that makes any sense. So either I can just tell you, or we can wait to see how long it takes the show to get Maomao to figure it out. XDXD even if all the episodes had tense cliffhangers from here on out, you wouldn't be able to finish season 2 right now, as it's currently releasing. And there's a break so no episode today, so I've got to wait 2 weeks between episodes 18 and 19 😤
