The bunny's name is Haru, a Japanese name. Hal is like a literal translation, but not the correct one (L and R have a bit complicated relationship in Japanese that should be taken into account when translating names.) A bit embarrassing, as she's one of the main characters and that error really changes the name. Rouis is also supposed to be Louis. As a fancy popular rich student he has a fancy name like some French royalty. For some reason the dub uses the correct names, but the subs don't.
