I think it's interesting that Charlie's dad is considered the dead beat when she hasn't heard from her mum in seven years. I really don't like the pacing of this show. Episode one the next extermination was six months away, and now it's just 1 month away? That's almost a month going by every episode when it's been a week for us irl. I think that's why the character development feels off. It's been months for the characters, but we haven't seen most of that time.
