After emerging from their screening of Fast & The Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,  Scott Tobias and Keith Phipps proceeded directly to their vehicles, engaging in a few highly choreographed bouts of hand-to-hand combat along the way, to record this episode of The Lobby while maneuvering Lake Shore Drive at breakneck speeds — then they remembered they're not Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, and decided to just chill in the parking deck and talk over the first spin-off film in the venerable autocentric action franchise while stationary. Together they have a mostly spoiler-free discussion about what this film gains—and loses—through its ties to the F&F franchise, how director David Leitch maneuvers within the movie's two main modes of action (vehicular mayhem and hand-to-hand combat), and what, if anything, Hobbs & Shaw is saying about itself.
