The Projector: A Holiday Programming Note (Patreon)

by Keith Phipps

Hi everyone. Sorry it's been a while since the last newsletter. It's also been a while since the last bonus episode. We usually run The Next Picture Show like a well-oiled machine, but the past few weeks have made us realize that when one part of that machine gets out of whack the whole operation slows down. I've been dealing with some unforeseen family health stuff that's taken me away from Chicago for much of the month (everything's pretty much fine now) and a couple of other members of the NPS gang have hit some scheduling difficulties. Short version: we haven't been able to turn out bonus content at the rate we like and even the regular show has had some iffy moments rescued by guests like the great Noel Murray.

But. We've got our best-of 2021 recording date all set and before long we'll be turning out more bonus episodes than you'll be able to listen to. As for 2021, however, this will be the last newsletter. We're going to hibernate after a rough December and come back stronger in 2022. Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and thank you, as always, for supporting what we do.
