The question of how Star Wars would translate to live-action television was already answered by The Mandalorian — pretty well, as it turns out — but it's been complicated by the recently completed first season of that show's first spinoff series, The Book of Boba Fett, which never seemed to get a handle on its title character or his place in this rapidly expanding media universe. Keith and Tasha, who convened for a post-game analysis of the season, differ slightly in their opinions of where it succeeds and fails — and only one of them says they'd come back for more if the series returns — but agree that there was plenty of missed opportunity when it comes to both this particular character and the broader scope of Star Wars storytelling.
After listening, check out further reading from both Keith, who recapped the series, and Tasha, who wrote about why BOBF works better if you accept its main character as a villain.
