The Lobby: The Woman King (Patreon)

We're all big Gina Prince-Bythewood fans here at The Next Picture Show (to the extent we devoted an entire bonus episode to her work back when The Old Guard came out), so we were looking forward to the opportunity to talk about her newest, The Woman King, on the podcast. Alas, due to a dearth of exciting pairing options and an abundance of scheduling barriers, that didn't pan out, so Keith and Tasha once again took to the (virtual) Lobby shortly after the film's impressive theatrical debut, to discuss what makes this historically influenced (if not entirely historically accurate) action-packed crowd-pleaser tick.
