The Lobby: Avatar: The Way of Water (Patreon)

There's a whole lot going on in Avatar: The Way of Water, James Cameron's oft-delayed second entry in the planned five-film franchise, too much to do more than skim the surface of the three-hour-plus digital behemoth. But skim the surface Tasha and Scott do in their first-reaction discussion, which grapples with the movie's massive scope, both narrative and visual; the ways in which it both embraces and defies blockbuster convention; and how Cameron is setting the table for the future of Pandora (or movies about it, anyway). Take note, while it's difficult to say what qualifies as a spoiler in a movie with so many moving parts, this discussion does get into some specifics — in particular regarding space whales.
