We here at The Next Picture Show have accepted at this point that it is virtually impossible for one person to stay on top of all the new movies and new television in a given year, particularly as the ongoing era of Too Much TV has made keeping up with the latter more or less a full-time job. And it is a full-time job for Genevieve, who sat out our Top 10 2022 Films discussion because she didn't make a movies list, but did manage to rank her top TV series of the year. She shares that list in this bonus episode, with an assist from Keith and Scott on some shows they managed to squeeze in among all the films they saw, and which would have made their own lists if they had made them. It's a collaborative Top 10, with some bonus picks thrown in for good measure.
The shows we cover are listed below alphabetically, along with articles and recaps referenced during the discussion, but you'll need to listen to the episode to see what ranked, and where. And please share your thoughts and picks in the comments below, because there is always, always more TV to watch and talk about.
