just curious but have you thought about expediting the leveling process at all. in the games current state upgrading gear and unlocking new skills is kinda unreasonable. 5 soul crystals per upgrade is quite costly for the rate that you get them. and upgrading skills or perks further than level one also takes an insane player level. I can understand wanting to keep some challenge in the game instead of everyone having some crazy a** kicking character but currently it just seems a little absurd...

Upgrades feel perfectly balanced at least to me. Only issue I have is balancing food, but that's mostly just a skill issue on my part.

I have exact opposite problem from you 2 🤣 i try to do most content so i sometimes repeat encounters for fun and suddenly I'm level 15 and am still not in Monsters. Is there a max level? I feel like I'm leveling WAY too fast after reaching lvl 10.
