Here's a guide for creating translation packs that will be compatible with ToA for anyone who wants to create their own translations. The game now supports arbitrary character sets, asset replacement, and full text replacement, including a system for fully grammatical translations with dynamic text.

We may at some point distribute official translation packs as well.

If you're working on a translation, feel free to shout it out here. If you've got any questions about translations, including requests, feel free to ask here or send us a message here as well!

Hi there! I recently translated the game's text into PT-BR using Claude Code, but there are a few words I couldn't translate because I think they're hardcoded into the images. Also, since I'm not sure if the font supports special characters, I'm currently using the text without accents. However, I have both versions saved (with and without accents). I still need to do some more revising because I've already spotted a few mistakes. For instance, the script I made with Claude ended up translating NPC names too, so I need to change those back to the original. Plus, some words ended up being too long and are overlapping, while others just don't fit within the game's UI. Let me know where I can share the translation files in case you guys want to use them or help improve the translation! Edit: I just noticed that the end of the text mentions using fonts that include special characters. I'll update my files.
