You know, I think you kinda hit the nail on the head for George. To be honest. I really can't think of a better voice actor for George than Jack Quaid, although, I'd add just a touch of echo, for George post zombie. Sort of a slight "beyond the grave" touch.

Is there a "Slow Aging" thing going on with the Werewolves in your Universe? Lyn, her mother and younger sister all look to be about the same age. Seeing them side by side, John actually looks older by several years than his girlfriends mom. And her grandfather looks more like someone in his mid to late 40's, very early 50's absolute tops. I'm just shy of 50 myself and I look pretty close to that age. And I look young for my age, always have.
