TrueFoot Career Engine 1.7: Dynamic Weather in FC 26 and FC 27 (Patreon)
Content
TrueFoot Career Engine 1.7 is out. This build is mostly about one thing: dynamic weather, now in FC 26 and FC 27 career matches.
🌦️ Dynamic weather
In the base game the weather you kick off in is the weather you finish in. Now every career match gets its own weather story, played out over the full ninety minutes.
Clouds, rain, heavy rain, snow and fog, changing during the match
The story comes from the real weather odds of that country and month
Rain makes the pitch and the kits wet, with splashes on the ball, and they dry when it stops
It starts by itself at kick-off and ends at full time, nothing to press
Pick a weather story for a match on Matchday > Dynamic weather, or let the odds decide
Works in FC 26 and FC 27; Kick Off matches keep the game's own weather
📦 Career Engine Pack (new)

🧪 New in the alpha
These systems are for our alpha testers first and move into the beta as they prove stable. Most of them work in FC 27 and FC 26; the few that are FC 27 only for now say so. Here is how each one works.
📋 Club Agenda
Your club now has a life between matches: the board, the fans and the dressing room all want something from you.
Three gauges at the top: board trust, the fans' mood and team spirit
Five rooms: Chairman, Press room, Dressing room, Fans and Derby
Things arrive as talks with a deadline: a player wants more minutes, the January board meeting, derby week, the captain, discipline, a new signing who is not settling in
Every answer shows its result before you pick it, and afterwards you see how the board, the fans and the team moved
Miss a deadline and your assistant takes the safe answer, or set it so the problem grows instead
Ask the board for money: a little, a good amount, a lot, or room on the wage bill, each with its chance and conditions
Board money goes into your transfer budget when you add it, and you can give it back
The board keeps a share of your player sales, and once a season you can negotiate that share
Football rules you can switch on: the under-18 transfer rule, scholarships at 16, big clubs approaching your academy players, work permits and non-EU limits, the homegrown rule, social media fines
What reaches the game: the money in your transfer budget, and your fans' mood in your home crowds when realistic crowds are on. Board trust, fans and team spirit are Career Engine's own reading of your club
🌱 Youth Academy: the Scout desk
A new tab in the Youth Academy for developing and finding young players.
Academy coaching (off until you switch it on): each month your academy players get extra development towards their potential
Better youth facilities coach better and younger players gain more; every player shows his aim for the season and the boost so far
Coaching never touches skill moves or weak foot, and a player close to his potential gets nothing extra
Mission planner: your scouts side by side, how many players each finds in three, six or nine months, what it costs in a cheap, middle or expensive region, and which mission is the best value. These are the game's own scouting numbers
Scout network: pay once and after a while the scout gains an experience star, so he finds more players every month. If he is out on a mission, the network simply waits
Report cards: note what a scout's report showed, then compare it with the player's real rating and potential, so you learn which scouts to trust
Wider name pools (off until you switch it on, per country): new youngsters and scouted players get names from much wider real name lists, refreshed every month
💱 Transfers
The other clubs now behave more like real clubs, and you get tools to see it.
Market director (Off, Realistic or Custom): it sets the other clubs' budgets through the season the way real windows work, with less money in January and a summer push for the big clubs
It stops strange moves before they happen: a young talent joining a much weaker club, a star sold to a direct rival, a top star dropping to a far weaker club
Give everything back now: one button returns every budget it changed
AI transfer lists (FC 27): switch it on and a few clubs a day put their weakest spare player on their transfer list, the way the game does it
Listing rules for your squad and for other clubs: players in poor form, older players with few minutes, surplus players by role, players paid above their rating. Off, Suggest (names only) or Do it (FC 27; FC 26 has Suggest), and you can protect any player
List any of your players straight from his panel (FC 27); the game's own contract talks then put him on the list
Transfer history has a new card, Is the market like real football?: a score out of 100 for your season, measures against real football, and the strangest moves of each window
📝 Contracts
Wages and renewals now cost what they should.
Raise requests: players who feel underpaid ask for more. Refuse, offer 50% or 75%, or sign the raise in full, and his mood follows your answer
A refused player asks again about a month later
Renewing contracts, one by one or the whole squad, now takes signing and agent fees from your transfer budget
A player you list keeps his shorter contract, so he sells for less, like in real life
🏥 Medical, 💰 Finance and 🤖 World Automation
Smaller changes that make the club side more real.
Medical: an accelerated return plan now carries a real chance of a setback, shown before you confirm; a setback keeps him out longer
Finance: loan instalments are paid automatically each July. Pay late and you pay extra, the board notices, and two late payments close the bank's door
Finance: new owners can take over and invest, and they come with targets for you
World Automation: youth growth and late bloomers can now reach young players at other clubs too, and a late bloomer at your own club costs a coaching fee
World Automation: undo a change and choose Keep it this way, and no rule makes it again
Career mode switch: your club's facts (academy, prestige, popularity) then only grow through Projects, not by hand
🧍 Body Studio changes stay
You asked for this one: edits no longer disappear after a restart.
Body Studio edits are kept for each career
They come back when you load the career, as long as TrueFoot Hub is running
🖥️ Career Engine screens
Smaller things that make the window nicer to use every day.

Career Engine and the Career Engine Pack come with a paid tier on Patreon. A paid tier gets new builds first, before they go out to everyone, and the alpha systems are for our alpha testers until they move into the beta. Thank you for the support and the reports.
