Here's a WIP sneak peek of one of the two animation I'm currently working on. It can be seen from two perspective. A first person one and a alt_cam one.

Full disclosure: To save time, I did not do this one from scratch unlike all my previous anims. The main track is done by a chap called Stimuli. All I've done here is edit it to make it work with my characters by adding subtracks to fix hip, hand and foot placements. Added facial expressions, eye tracking, genitals anim and animated clothing morphs.

WARNING, long rant incoming:

I've been getting DM's asking about EP10's ETA. So to reiterate: This thing is nowhere near done. I'm close to finishing the first path. After the anims are done, I just need to do some actiony story stuff outside and then show what happens once the boys get back home.

After that's done though, I still need to do the second path. That'll be as big as the first one. Each path will be about as long as the entirety of some of the earlier episodes.

I know it's been ages since EP9 dropped but there's still a long way to go before I get this one done. And I acknowledge that I'm incredibly slow. So I urge anyone who feels that this is unacceptable to please consider dropping or lowering your pledge for now until EP10 is done.

Still, don't get me wrong though... I'm super thankful for everyone that's been supporting me thus far, month after month, for pretty much nothing in return. I definitely wouldn't be able to do any of this without you guys.

Thanks,

Az.

I pledged to you because I enjoy the game and want it to continue. If that requires a longer dev cycle to accomplish, then so be it. Obviously there is a part of my brain that's impatient and wants content right now, but the reasonable part of my brain knows that things take time. So take the time you need to develop the game you want, and to your standards.

Could not agree more your doing a great Job with this game keep up the good work

The update comes out when it's ready and that' it. You have been consistent with patreon messages informing of the progress, which is far more than others. Now the tests, the look good as for animation goes. I know there only tests and there's more work to do, but it's looking good.

I wholeheartedly endorse the three posters above. You Az, I grant you, through no fault of your own, are a patron's worst bloody nightmare. You produce brilliantly engrossing entertainment, but only once in a blue moon. I, just like everyone else here, can't stand having to wait for something I have, to your everlasting credit, come to enjoy as much as I do, "Halfway House". However, I consider myself smart enough, considerate enough and patient enough to realise that I can most likely only continue to experience that degree of enjoyment at the cost of these inordinate periods of waiting between updates. As you say, YOU can't, YOU won't and therefore indeed YOU MUSTN'T do it any other way, if the stratospherically high quality of the content we can expect and that you so far have succeeded in delivering is to be both sustained and maintained. True patrons will doggedly and stoically remain seated whilst the fair weather passengers will get off at the next stop and good riddance. As I said I'm far from happy about this situation, but I'm carrying on, not only as a matter of trust and principle, but also because, for me, the sacrifice in giving up would, at the moment, be far too great.

Quality takes times... i know im new here but i really, really love your work. So take your time and do quality stuff... Other dev takes there time when its for quality and you should too. As long as you keep the dialog with your patreon thats all you need !

Thanks for being straight with us re timelines. I'll keep giving you the equivalent of a cuppa Starbucks per month. The real cost is the time it takes to play a game (any game) so I get mad if I feel that my time is wasted.

Blacklabyrinth

I want it now, I want it yesterday... and I'll want it the day it comes out. I'm also perfectly happy to wait until it's done. You have crafted a great story/game. Keep doing it your way!

While I admit I do have the feelings of 'cant wait!'... I also understand that it will take the time it takes. So, rock on and I keep on subbing.
