The OG or the remake??

Remake! My friend is super into anime and tells me what to watch, and they were very clear that I must watch the remake, and that it's better with the English dubbing (which is a controversial opinion neither of us endorse for TV in general). I read about the 2001 afterwards but I'm not a fan of media which isn't true to origins so never wanted to watch the original 👀

They did a reaaaally good job with the remake but I have a soft spot for the OG version. Your friend has good taste! I’d recommend it too, it’s a shoujo classic

That's EXACTLY what my friend said when they recommended it to me! They also told me not to watch AoT but I did and I was crying in the first episode because the giants scared me and all the baby kids growing up the hard way made me sad 😭
