Bruh. Every time I do taxes or any other govt money shit I end up angry crying. The thought is even worse this year since nothing I actually believe in gets paid for with my taxes! Such boooolsheet! I know you don’t drink much but maaan I love me a Moscow mule cuz it’s made with ginger beer, which is more… gingery than ale, like a lil spicy almost. Highly recommend. I really don't think you're stupid at all, David. It's the language they use on tax forms that is impossible to understand. We have the same issue in France. I love math, and I'm good at math, I also love words and languages, but honestly doing taxes is a nightmare. Sometimes you have to calculate something that you never had to calculate before and then 3 years later it's different again and then you have to add something and then you don't, and they tell you if you need information click here, and the explanation is even more nonsensical. I wish I earned more money so I could actually pay someone to do it for me every year, as you said. But I am absolutely certain that if they wanted to make it easier for us, they would. They would use normal words. But they don't, I think they find it funny to think of all the people who have to get through this sh*t every single year. Anyway, as we say over here: bon courage 😘

The best thing about turbo tax, is that you can put in all your information and it doesn’t charge you until the end when you e-file them, so you can decide at the last minute if you want to, it’s what I do. (:

Came back to listen again and realized…you do taxes this early?! Good for you. I always hand in my stuff last minute LOL (my accountant is forgiving cause he a family friend and knows I do this…I’m horrible I know). Also…ginger ale is BOMB. Nothing beats Canada Dry. Although, one time I bought a bottle when I was in Hawaii and it was much sweeter than what I buy here so it wasn’t my favourite…I wonder if the taste is different in Cali 🤔

I remember when I was a kid, my mom would get me raspberry ginger ale when I was sick. Damn near a comfort thing for me for a while. But I got a cold last month and only then did I realize that they don't make it anymore? Or no one around me carries it?
