Alice Interactive Comic (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Today's post is very exacting, a brand new type of content - interactive comics. Its very similar to how visual novels work. There's even a secret path 😈

The file get from this is a zip containing an index.html file. All you need to do is open that and interact with the pages. All of my testing was in firefox, but it should work in most browsers - it does not currently work on mobile browsers, but I'm actively working on fixing that. In terms of normal visual novels, the size is small for this one, but its a lot larger than my normal comics. I hope you find all the endings!

I'll be adding a new tier for those who want to commission an interactive comic. They will be quite a bit more expensive since it involves:

Creating a large image set

Creating a large amount of animations based on the image set

Using my custom built program to create the comic

You'll notice in the comic I'm using a lot of the assets I've built over time. So this project is really a culmination of all of the improvements I've made over time. Let me know what you think!!

I haven't decided how often I'll make these comics. They take a very long time to prepare, but I think the end result is amazing and unique. So if I end up focusing on these comics a lot, my posting frequency would likely be effected.

I've fixed the issue with mobile, it now works on android devices! Hopefully it also works on safari, I don't have an iPhone so I can't verify that one. If someone tries it let me know! You may need an app from the play store zArchiver or something similar to properly unzip the file. Its important that the directory structure be maintained for the comic to work. I hope you enjoy!
