hey michael, I just want to point out some bits that were cut down.1) when Jinwoo extract Black ant beru, he actually had the intention to extract Ant queen's shadow as well, but beru told Jinwoo that by extract Ant queen's shadow, the other ants' shadows would get weaker, 2) that hunter with the nitouryu swords is from China, in the manhwa they did introduce this place as China, I don't know why the anime didn't show it 😭💔.3) We actually had a formal introduction of Thomas Andre this episode, I don't know why they chose to skip the part introducing Thomas andre 😭💔.4) We also had the introduction of a new character (I don't want to say the name because it might be introduced in season 3，just don t want to spoil to you）That new character will be introduced before Jinwoo goes to the red gate

Fantastic season, im gonna miss solo leveling😭, and i can't wait for the next season! it's going to be even better!, also mike if you want to try another webtoon anime like solo leveling there is one releasing this next season on april 2nd called The Beginning After The End, it's a really good series and quite popular.

that is the same key from the demons castle. the key leads to somewhere that was talked about in season one i wouldnt say this is a spoiler since its already been talked about but it really is so i wont say anything about it. it comes with a crazy lore drop so season 3 will be hype 🙏

Great season, great reactions Michael! When the Chinese s-rank killed all the ants with one shot in the open sea it kinda reminded me of when Shanks destroyed Kid in One Piece, hope they give him some shine next season. I hope we get more peak anime this spring, Solo Leveling has set the bar high for the remainder of this year!

I was about to compare Beru to a character in Slime but we only in episode 8 lol, but he's definitely the #1 jinwoo glazer. By the way a few things, that notification with the key mentioned it was for the Cartenon temple. If you remember back to episode 1 when Mr. Song read the commandments it was called "The Commandments of the Cartenon Temple". I'm only gonna say that much since anymore would be borderline spoiler or lead you to a pretty accurate theory as to whats gonna happen. Also the china hunters name is Liu Zhigang also know as China's 7-Star Hunter / Hero of China. Alsoooo, the place Cha was in towards the ending was Mr. Songs Dojo I believe since he's one of the best in pure sword technique. Can't wait for S3

so the voice that jin-woo heard last week was byung-gu. the korean version had subtitles that hinted at what was said at the end even though it was really hard to make out what was actually being said. also, in the manhwa it took jin-woo a second try to extract byung-gu's shadow and had the assumption of "i guess he thinks it's immoral to turn a human being into a shadow" yes, the ants lifespan is a year long but killing them would definitely be ideal lol yes, thats the key from the demon's castle. Cartenon temple is the double dungeon where he became a player soldier ranks so far go from normal > elite > knight > elite knight > general the name Beru is based on the author of "Empire of the Ants" Bernard Werber, so the pronunciation of Bernard would be berunarudo, thus Beru 18:39 China's national rank hunter, Liu Zhigang. he's an S rank but China follows their own ranking system and he's the only one to be a "seven star rank" in China. iirc the max before was 5 stars. absolute gigachad those 2 enemies you saw, welcome to the start of the main plot of solo leveling sorry for so much text lol. I don't know how many times I've reread the manhwa

This episode ended exactly the same place where Season 1 of the Manwha ended. They did cut a lot of stuff, but i think they'll put the important plot stuff they missed in the start of Season 3. No need to make the final episode feel super rush! Regarding the key, I believe that's a key he obtains when he reached level 100. Unfortunately, can't reveal anything about this key as it is a HUGE plot point for next season. Kinda surprised you were even able to pause it at the right moment to read most of it. Regarding those two humanoid monsters and "the other lady", you'll just have to wait until Season 3 and 4. Like i said last week, this is a huge set up for the insane second half of the series. Shit only gets even more real next season and Season 4.

Oh I did find it funny that because they didn't end the episode on a massive cliffhanger, they decided not to play the usual Season 2 ending but rather the Season 1 ending. Didn't wanna give people "Feet PTSD" on the final episode of Season 2 ahhahah

What a great season, I can wait patiently for a third season since the main reason he did all this was to help his mom and his mission done. And I have a feeling he gonna call his guild “Shadow Guild” and Cha will most likely join him.

Beru is General Rank(in future there will be anothers) all shadow ranks are: General - SS Elite Knight - S Knight - A Elite- B Normal - C/D/E from stronger to weaker. Those 2 are kind of magic beast but ...(i can't reveal bcs its BIIIIIG Spoiler) Key of Cartenon Temple - sorry but also i can't reveal anything about bcs is even BIGGER SPOILER If they will skip dialogs ,story etc like here they probably end Solo lvling in Season 3, what is kind'a sad.

They left out a part where Jin Woo ARISED the Ant Queen and had to reverse the extraction because Beru explained to Jin Woo that she still controls the ants and would clash with Jin Woo. He also explained that the queen didn't have any manna left which would not make her suitable to be used in battle. All I can say (as a manwha reader) is you are not ready for the craziness that is about to about to happen

My favorite thing about acquiring Beru is that now when Jinwoo "solo" levels, he still has someone to talk to and can give feedback. Granted Iron, Tusk and Igris have intuitive responses etc. but it's not the same as talking to someone. Also, I kinda miss Joohee because whenever Jinwoo is behind something, even if she doesn't see it, she instinctively knows it was him (thinking back in ep. 4 of S1 when he threw the broken sword to break the shield during the dungeon break.) And this one where Beru saved Mr. Song. Also, one thing I didn't understand when Jinwoo got in the red gate is that he thought he'd be late. But I'm pretty sure in red gates there is time dilation where 1 day inside is 1 hour outside. So he'd be fine.
