it's unfortunate that the greedy production committee has put these animators in such circumstances, a tight schedule and limited budget, and because of those 2 things, jc staff needs to be strategic in where they use this limited budget for 12 episodes, thats why dialogue-scenes or dialogue heavy episodes have minimum amounts of animation, although the great upgrade in art direction (compared to s2) makes up for such situations, sharper character designs, better composition (they got rid of the ugly metal texture s2 genos had), better usage of colors and better backgrounds, these animators are passionate about opm and could make it look amazing but they are being hindred immensely ppl on social media have become so quick to judge on ep 1 & 2 while being ignorant on how anime production works, they harrass the staff while not knowing that they are still working as hard as they can with the bad schedule. ep 1 is dialogue heavy and 90% of ep 2 has no action, it would make sense for jc staff to strategically minimize animation for those 2 eps, especially when they know that they are being limited and so the best call is to just save as much budget as they can for the actual important fights. very recently S3 director Shinpei Nagai has deleted his twitter account because of the amount of harrass and hateful comments he and the staff have been getting, all because anime fans are generally completely ignorant on the environment of anime production, and it doesn't help that there's other creators on yt nitpicking the bad scenes with no knowledge on anime productions which just fuels more hate and ignorance for the viewers of those videos. michael you're definitely not one of them because you criticize the scenes fairly, but the other creators who are being completely unfair and unknowledgable amidst this drama are all doing bad more then good, fueling even more audience to go after the staff because they don't even know what they're talking about while nitpicking the scenes (those creators were the snowball effect, they were the ultimate reason the director eventually deleted his account even though there was other people trying to show him lots of support) that's all i gotta say, that last part of ep 2 with garou vs royal ripper had good animation, i noticed the shift in animation immediately, and i do believe the animation will still get even better for the more important action later on, everyone stay kind to eachother ✌️❤️‍🩹
