When I first read this chapter I was surprised to see Oda include that little flashback of Robin almost jumping , I didn't think he would take it to that point of her almost trying to end it. Just to me that felt like it added a lot of impact. Also adulthood has made me like Robin and relate to her more so it's nice how much effort they put into this ep and it was nice to see almost all of the crew crying. Also excited for next week for reasons I can't say

The last time I cry so hard watching One Piece was during episode 1136 when Kuma wish Bonney's 10th birthday before he become fully cyborg and then this episode🥹 Fun fact the title of ending song in this episode is "Never Was Alone In This World" and sung by Maki Otsuki which is the same singer that sing One Piece's ending song 1 Memories. Toei really work so hard for this episode because Robin & Saul get the special song for their reunion🤧

THE ANIMATOR Vincent Chansard did around 2 minutes of key animation for this ep, he did mention in an interview a while back that he wished to work on this chapters adaptation, guess he got his wish. This ep was also directed by the same director (Yasunori Koyama, the series co-director) who did the last kuma backstory ep (1136)
