The last panel wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I think I hashed out the hard stuff in the thumbnail.

I’d been meaning to ask this, coz you talk about your process a bit and its really cool seeing the BtS per se of comic work. But did you map out the entire location that Jacky and Herman are in? Like did you make a reference or such for the location/setting theyre currently in? Coz ive always wondered how much or how little one should prep for an area or new location.

I wish I'd had time! I did get to map it a little, but it was mostly exploratory sketches to capture the 'mood'. A lot of the mapping happens when I'm doing thumbs. It slows me down a lot, actually. I'm still working on finding a balance that allows me to do enough concept art to feel comfortable, but I think that's just a personal preference. A buddy recently taught me to draw a flat representation of the scene from above first and that should help with placing things when I move panel angles. With this setting I took some old existing concepts and updated them with new ideas. There's some recent concept art and some old thoughts in this tumblr tag if you want to browse it. https://greekceltic.tumblr.com/tagged/labyrinth

Those are really cool! The main advice i always hear when getting into comics is “just start” but its always left me wondering…where and how? Ive seen both the advice of do prep/fly by the seat of your pants and i feel very lost with that. So its nice seeing the varying levels of middle ground between artists. Your process is very fun to witness and quite inspiring!
