I feel like Bakugo panicked. He seems to be popular and have a tough guy reputation. 13-14 year old kids are cruel. It doesn't excuse anything, but I've been there. I've felt the fear of thinking people will turn on you for being "other". If you can put that onto someone else at that age, a lot of kids would do it. That's not right. It's not fair, but I think it's a very human response for a middle school boy. Especially since Bakugo seemed to like the kiss. I feel like he might've been in the closet here or unsure of some things..... or I could just be projecting. ^^;

He left Kirishima to deal with the mess, to be labeled as not only gay, but also someone who just goes around kissing dudes as he wants. I can really see this doing a number on him. It definitly smells of internalized homphobia. Like, Katsuki clearly knows he is attracted to guys, but he doesn't seem to be in a support system that would allow that, so as soon as he is within that system, he pushes it away as fiercly as he can.
