Ohhhhhh this one hurt …. ALL the feels 😖 I’ll bet money Kats is acting like this because he’s probably only heard of how successful and powerful Kiri has become and found fame traveling as a fighter, while he’s had to endure enslavement, mutilation of his body, and feelings of helplessness. Seeing Kiri again reminds him of who he used to be and he’s probably just ANGRY at everything and everyone. Acting like NONE of what’s happened to him bothers him is his act of defiance and control. But going from Kiri’s rock and protector 10 years ago to needing someone to save him and not getting it just crushes my heart. I’m getting such Astarian vibes 😭 (Bg3 for my fellow gaming nerds 🤓🎮) Nala, I don’t know how you do it, but your art and storytelling is beyond amazing. I’m literally on the edge of my seat with all these comics. THANK YOU for expressing your art in this way, it’s definitely bringing joy (even the angst 😂).
