Completely unrelated to the very emotional teasing but Kiri's skin having that gray hue to it kills me every time we seem him. Like he's got that slightly tanned/darker skin that most everyone head canon's him with, but there's a touch of lifelessness to him likely brought on from the many years hallucinations because of the accident and I just want to give him a hug and set him on the beach to let the sun bathr him in warmth.

I noticed the dull skin thing too and I originally had the same thought as you on why it was gray. But when I went back to see if Kiri's skin had always looked liked that I noticed that it didn't actually start to appear gray until Bakugou's second visit to Tartarus, which would have been a week after the first. So as much as I like your theory, I think it might have more to do with his prolonged imprisonment.
