Time for childhood friends! Sorry for the delay! 

Don't you think it's around time for the childhood friend to finally get with the protagonist instead whatever magical girlfriend the universe has conjured up? I mean, the childhood friend put in all the work only to get tossed aside time and time again. We can fix this. No, Ally does not count. She met the protagonist in college.
