Also.. it was alluded to in the 3rd or 4th episode that Conrad had been moody since April, so its likely that is when he found out about his mom & began his downward spiral.

Is Conrad his mother actually passed away from cancer? I believe a teenager around the same age 16 or maybe younger so I feel like him playing this role. It’s very close to home.
