Kiss the Librarian

Love this movie. Super bummed that Neil Gaimann is a creeper who creeped on so many women. But, many creatives were involved in adapting his books, so it isn't all about him.

I had no idea about Neil Gaimann!! We love Henry Selick though because he's an amazing animator and made this wonderful masterpiece.

This movie was released in 3D! I went to see it in theaters with a friend when it first came out. Some shots, like the sewing needle in the intro, fell into that corny 3D shot trope lol.

Allison

Ahh this movie reminds me to re-watch Corpse Bride for the spooky season! Great reaction to such an amazing film---not even disgusting Neil Gaimann can deter how good the animation/direction is.

Killian

Omg I LOVE Robert Bailey Jr.!!! He plays my favourite character, Dr. Paul Cummings in “The Night Shift”!!

Y’all should watch “Hollywood” on Netflix! It’s only 7 episodes and it’s FANTASTIC

Lorraine McGrail

If the author's accusations make you uncomfortable, it might help to know that the book is actually really different to the movie. Like the two worlds angle and the main character's name are the same and that's about it- this is really Henry Selick's work.

I had no idea about Neil Gaimann, really appreciated the comments you made at the beginning after learning what happened. Thanks for posting this and taking the time to also look out for your viewers and Benjy you look so cute in your yellow raincoat!

If you want to keep the spooky stop motion trend going I definitely recommend ParaNorman. It is very good and very underrated!

Catherine

I watched that in the cinema when it came out, and that moment towards the end with *SPOILER ALERT* Norman and the Witch, when it just becomes this incredible silence, was truly masterful! the plot twist was great. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys stop-motion and sort-of horror.
