Keke

Are y’all liking S2 better than S1 so far?

Cody

Oh shit oh shitttttt

Keke

Louis was so snarky in this episode 😂 he took a page out of the Daniel Molloy handbook.

Keke

Last comment lol, did you guys notice how in the first episodes Armand and Louis were sitting together and now they’re in separate chairs with a space between them? Love the subtle directorial touches.

elio

love how involved y'all both got in the theme song hahaha <3 i want to do it every time too

ondraya

That Lestat reveal always hits hard, I love it. Armand is so interesting. He's so powerful, yet seems to struggle with his power and control often.

Louis went from the overt narcissist to the covert controlling narcissist 😬 After rewatching this with y'all I think my take away from the books & show might just be that becoming a vampire won't cure mental illness, Louis continues to battle his depression. It makes what he implanted in Daniel to keep going even more meaningful 💜

Ahhhhh!!!! Can't waittttt

Bx

Aaaaaaaahhhh it’s so goood! I can’t wait for you to see the ending of this season! This show really did draw you in, honestly haven’t had that for a while

So, Claudia was born in the year 1903, as we know. Claudia was then turned in the year 1917, as we know. It is now at this point in time somewhere in the mid to late 40's... Is Claudia over 100 Benji? Even close to it? LOL No she is a 40 something fierce woman vampire TRAPPED in the body of a 14 year old girl... I mean by the time she met Charlie even though he was 18-19 she was already a few years older than him mentally... And Rizzo Claudia is not an ancient at this point. Technically she's still a baby vamp by older vampires accounts. 45 years is NOTHING to Immortals. LOL I love to bust people's chops your reactions are always AWESOME but another thing you missed, again Claudia was turned at 14, she was made so small she doesn't carry enough vampire blood in her to turn someone bigger than her. Also, Madeleine is about 27-32 here... The thing with the soldier happened a while back at the beginning of the war so maybe 5-7 years prior. Maybe more. ANOTHER THING lmfao "He didn't notice his journals gone?" I'm sorry "HIS" journals??? They're Claudia's. He had no part in the journals at this point. Why would he notice if they were gone? They're hers. Also LOL The girl who died in the flashback was her sister. In THE BOOKS it's a daughter but here it's her sister. Excellent reaction guys I look forward to the finale!

How can one ever forget about baby girl Lestat tho? He’s the best 😭

I noticed Sam's Irish accent from his first appearance but didn't think much of it, the Theatre des Vampires is a pretty mixed bag of people. Why wouldn't he be Irish? But then this episode they're rehearsing a play, in the year 1949, where the characters are waiting for Guido, who will never show up, and I realised - Sam is fucking Samuel Beckett, the famous Irish playwright who lived in Paris. One of his most famous works is Waiting for Godot, which he worked on between 1948 and 1949. His estate is famously picky about letting people stage his work so not sure how they'd feel about the implication of him being a vampire but I personal loved it and think is an amazing detail.

That's a thought, so he can't heal from his depression because he's stuck the was he was when he was turned - deep depression and grief. Do you think it is only depression. I mean Daniel was not tactful with how he said it, but is it possible that Paul's suicide triggered a latent mental illness - or even Paul's suicide combined with the traumatic turning, combined with all the trauma over the following 30 years?

The probability of y'all seeing this now is slim to none, but a bit of explanation for the apple eating. Madeline was a prisoner of war for quite some time during WW2 because of her short stint with the young German soldier. It was/is very common for PoW to have their teeth rot, thus making it hard to eat hard things like apples. So instead of biting into the hard fruit she ground it up with a spoon
