Bryanna Johnson

without the intro, i knew that costumes were gonna happen, but it was still a jump scare to see rizzo green😂

My dad grew up raising pigs on his family farm and yes, they Will eff you up. Between the 4 brothers they frequently had to flee the pigs, even jumping and clinging to the rafters if needed.

Oooooh you guys should totally watch The Wiz!!! It's been a while since I watched The Wizard of Oz and TBH, I probably haven't watched it since I was young. I prefer The Wiz to the Wizard of Oz...creepy train station and all. I think The Wiz has better songs as well. I think Rizzo will likely like the songs from The Wiz better. I also prefer "Home" over "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". We're def a The Wiz household.

Shaun Beyond

Dawg…The Wiz was right there 🤦🏾‍♂️

Dorothy is meant to be 12?!

Bx

I know you’re doing this due to Wicked but pleeeeease would love to see a reaction to ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’ and ‘Singin’ in the rain’ they’re such brilliant musicals!

Neva Cervantez

yeah its actually terrible what they put judy garland through to make her look so young and small but it was legal back in '39 :/

Neva Cervantez

LOVE the costumes, guys!! Benji, that tiara is SO adorable and Rizzo, you look AMAZING!!!

Mia Aikens

I was not ready for Rizzos makeup.

Bx

Oh man, I knew she was treated terribly but I didn’t realise that was part of it

Avi

Yeah, about the pig, I worked at a farm that did tours for schools and families, and when I arrived one of the employees was not working because her hand had gotten eaten by the pig. We had to be really careful when the kids would pet them.

Amy Franklin

Iirc the tornado was actually just a woman's stocking being swirled around in water or something to that effect!

Kree

Off to Wicked myself tonight. This was a good refresher! Love watching all the videos with you too <3

Hanna

Jumpscare😂

Benji feeling every song, specially the munchkin song. You’re just like me when I watch this movie lol. Also, very excited you guys watched this one. Judy Garland is literally my favorite actor of all time.

Allison

Will always hate The Wizard Of Oz--even if it is amazing in many factors--but at least watching it with you guys makes it bearable.

Zara Hoffman

Dorothy will go after anyone who comes after Toto. Even if it's a lion!

Rebecca Corrado

Rizzo’s makeup is making my face feel stiff and cakey

So, strange thing about the munchkinland scenes. There are several conditions that can cause a person to be a little person. One of the conditions that was prevalent among the munchkin actors was a pituitary condition that keeps the body from generating enough growth hormones, so a person retains the size and proportions of a child. There aren’t many little people like that nowadays, because treatments for growth hormone deficiency were developed in the 50s. Most little people you see in later generations have some form of dysplasia, with their smaller stature being from specific parts of their bodies, usually the upper bones of the limbs, not gaining length normally, while their heads and torsos experience fairly average growth. There were child actors among the munchkins, but not as many as you’d think from our modern norms of how little people are proportioned.

Rebecca Corrado

But yeah, the munchkin song is very “we have Lin Manuel Miranda at home”

Kate Mil

I completely understand what Rizzo was saying about not hating any particular part of this movie, and yet still hating to watch it. As a kid I fast-forwarded the second half of most of the songs. Rainbow, Dead Wicked Witch, and a few others. I love musicals, my favorite movies are all musicals. But I'm a modern girl when it comes to pacing and the songs in this movie can be so looooooooong....

Cayu18

I just watched and loved every second of it so I totally bought it lol which I normally don’t. I always just wait until they become available on streaming service but it was too good to have to wait so long for a rewatch. The music was amazing. I wish they would react to it honestly think cast and crew did an immaculate job at adapting the musical to motion picture.
