It satirizes both epic fantasy AND the bizarre tropes of the original Arthurian legends. Like, yeah, I know anyone on the internet has probably seen the best ten minutes via memes, but it’s such a good time to watch with a friend.

I know this is a movie reaction channel, but it always breaks my heart just a little when people are unaware that this movie is (loosely) based on a book. Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine (1997). I was obsessed with that book when I was a kid.
