wait I swear in the episode I watched they played "Jenny from the block" when Fleabag finds Hot Priest??? is this a mandela effect situation or did they lose the rights to the song?

Emmi

I remember it this way also

Emmi

did some digging the BBC and Amazon versions are different due to licensing issues, and the Americans obvs dont have the BBC so

Benji voicing my thoughts there XD I love this episode. My fave part is the start though, with the two of them out and about in the city.

Toya8b

Benji getting baptized for the usher gloves lol. Also agree on the 'kneel' scene take ... Inappropriate but kinda hot 🔥

Moni

Am I the only one who in the “kneeling” scene was “YES, GET IT”?!

sao-miatta

They could've chosen ANY song...

After my seventh rewatch I realized that him kissing her right after her confession, while she was vulnerable, might have been not the greatest choice. But I don’t care, that was hot as fuck!! I love the hot priest!

Sylvia

Scorching hot but NOT the time: the confessional scene in six precise words 😂

fyi it's called the antepenult! That aside, I'm so happy you guys are reacting to the second season already :) I didn't wanna wait!

I watched this season about 2 months after my dad died and this episode was rough. The line "I don't know what to do with it; All the love I have for her. I don't know where to put it now." Will be with me forever. It's such a good way to describe the intense grief.

Also, my nephew had 2 guinea pigs. One lived for 6 years and the other lived for 7! They were in rough shape by the end but it is possible for them to live pretty long.

Anna

I love how God communicates exclusively through falling paintings

Bx

I actually am so glad to see you react the way you did! I do think it was bad timing, she was very vulnerable in that moment and he clearly was too. It doesn’t matter what kind of day it is though, that monologue hits every single time

Fleabag was definitely a personal/passion project for Phoebe Waller-Bridge - it started out as a live one-woman show, though not having seen it I don't know if it ncluded the plot-lines of series 2 or not. There is a live recording of it online (behind a paywall at National Theatre Live - one day I'll get around to subscribing to that for a bit as they have some excellent things, also including the recent-ish Angels in America with Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane, which I saw in the cinema and is extraordinary, and several other plays that Andrew Scott has done recently that I'd love to see).
