I watched this in the 90s and I was about 13/14 so right in the target demo. The Christian reveal was a shocker. maybe adult viewers picked up on it, but none of us kids did. Back then, gay characters were rare and casually gay characters were not a thing. If you had a gay character, it was a complete caricature, not just some kid who dresses a little better than the other guys and likes to dance. Also, kids weren't really openly gay in high school back then. I can only think of one. Gay people were our parents age, not kids like us. So it just wouldn't have crossed our minds that he might be.

1:25:55, so fun fact, Cher’s last name technically is Hamilton as displayed on her report card in the movie, but the actor who played the teacher adlibbed/ made up a last name “Horowitz” cause the script didn’t have her last name listed in that scene.

I dressed up as Dionne for a friends Halloween costume contest in 2023. To be honest I thought I should have won. But my then friend and her now husband won dressed up as a pop star and her famous NFL boyfriend. I'll give you a hint. Her name rhymes with Sailor Rift and his name rhymes with Gladys Chelsey. I refuse to name that person as I am not fan of hers and haven't been since I was 25 in 2017. And because every time I mention her name when typing or in passing. I end up getting a ton of ads on my phone and laptop regarding her and jock boyfriend. Also Rizzo and I seem to have bought the same Dionne costume. Although mine is the plus size one. Did you get the hat Rizzo?

That is a continuity error. Her last name is actually Horowitz as it's listed as Horowitz in IMDB. Hamilton was Cher's last name in an earlier script of the movie. Amy Heckerling the director of Clueless also directed Fast Times at Ridgemont High and one of the main characters was Stacey Hamilton. Some people think that Cher's original last name was a nod to that film.

Jeremy Sisto who played Elton was in the 18th-20th season of Law & Order as Detective Cyrus Lupo. He also is FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine on CBS's FBI. I am from Kentucky. Siblings or stepsiblings can't marry each other in Kentucky. 2nd cousins can though as I have a two second cousins who knew each other and got married. Your second cousin shares the same set of great grandparents as you. Kentucky isn't that backwards. Heck, you can marry your first cousin in California.
