rizzo singing no one mourns the wicked like its a rock song was great i love how chaotic this was, i saw for good last night and i loved it, i left the theater so sad that i wanted to do a rewatch of the first one so this was perfect, i agree with benji i think the wizard and i is one of the best and more underrated i guess cause its like under the shadow of defying gravity and popular, same as no good deed in act 2, and im obssesed with what they did with no good deed in the movie i think its gonna make it more popular for the people who didnt know or werent fans of the musical

dw rizzo, as someone who’s currently in school for theatrical lighting design I understand exactly what you’re saying lol. In my opinion the issue wasn’t even really overexposure, because they really were that overexposed as seen in the behind the scenes videos. The problem was that they spent thousands of dollars handcrafting specific lighting for each scene in the same manner you would a theatrical show, only to then send it to film editors, who are used to having to adjust light exposure and color-correct the shit out of every frame. All that gorgeous lighting and you barely see half of it in the final product. Sorry for the ramble, needless to say I love the movie but I wanted you to know that I agree and throw in my two cents :)

Powder Benji, powder!!! You need a powder to get your makeup to stay and not be greasy af. Then setting spray and powder again if it needs it. For green I'd use an eyeshadow in the similar color or a VERY good translucent powder.

Can I say after watching this movie a few times I actually like Jeff goldblum being casted. I get the critique but hear me out right, everyone keeps saying "oh that's just Jeff goldblum" when finding out hes the wizard. Tht works so well because that's the exact plot of the movie, you think its gonna be some serious, grandiose actor and then its just him playing himself aka just a man who happens to b charming. Also, Jeff himself has made a cult following of fans by just playing similar versions of himself in movies and making millions of dollars off big movie roles(love him but its tru lol) just like the wizard.
