The hot air balloon is actually jinxs lair!

Caitlyn looking at the air ducts beneath the hexgate tower in the end is pretty much telling us that Jinx had a way to get out from the explosion. The airship is also a reference to Powder saying in S1E1: One day I'm gonna fly one of these things. It's the show telling us Jinx survived, and that Caitlyn isn't telling Vi so they can both move on. Considering the show being a bummer. It reminds me of Silco's monologue about drowning. Every time you feel like you can come up for air it just hits you again. "Have you had enough?"

And i believe when jinx dodged the first things that were attaching to people, it disappeared bc it missed. So the one that was supposed to go to ekko went to her imstead

Absolutely!! I think the show is specifically written so people have to question if Jinx is dead. My reasoning for believing she lives is right at the start of the explosion, around the top center right of the cloud there’s a very quick pink streak that zips away (43:24 of this recording). This colour streak doesn’t match any other part of the visualization of the explosion, and after Jinx’s shimmer operation we see that when she moves at fast speeds her pink eyes leave the same pink streaking pattern. The ducks and airship are the next indicators that she lives and is moving forward in her life.

I always assumed that it wasn't even in question and that this show just has a lot of blink-and-you-miss-it exposition.

soooo excited to see more of this universe. There are several new series in development -- including one centered around Noxus (Mel's/Ambessa's home) which means the possibility of character crossover is high. Personally, I appreciate a bittersweet tragedy redemption arch... but signs do point to us encountering Jinx again. Additionally, I'm not a gamer but the lore I've read about Orianna (singed's daughter we see he brought back at the end there) is interesting and I hope they follow up :) The idea that he basically caused all the drama by inventing Shimmer AND get's his 'happy' ending by bringing her back while everyone else lost someone/everyone is ....a choice. haha Thanks for watching even if it's been a bit outside of your norm

Rewatching this season with you, it's so obvious to me that this season should have been split into two seasons. Some arcs are sooooo rushed that the ending lacks emotional payoff in my opinion. Mel's for example: her entire arc to become a badass all powerfull mage was a total of 2 or 3 scenes? Imagine the payoff if we saw her discover her powers, struggle, etc... still an amazing show though, I am glad you got to watch it with us :)

Man this show is tragedy upon tragedy but the Jayce/Viktor storyline STILL fucks me up. We can all argue about romantic vs platonic until we’re blue in the face but they were undeniably meant to be together, in every universe. They were each other’s raison d’être. Fucking SOULMATES. Who else is doing it like them 🤍
