Karlach's Animation WIP - Storyboard (Patreon)

Ahoy, me hearties!

Phew! This be the first storyboard I've worked on, and let me tell ye: it was so much fun!!

Now, I must admit I let myself go quite a bit and pushed it WAY more than I should have, but how to resist? This is where ideas take shape, and our stories come to life!

As you might have noticed, this is a whole new type of animation, with many, MANY more angles and action, and with contextual illustrations to give context about what's happening before and after the spicy scenes. You can think of it as in the good ol' WoW animations where illustrations were part of the action and the action itself. With the twist, of course, that here we shall have the spiciest bits animated in our smooth and detailed way!!

After counting the pieces required for the full animation described in the storyboard, we will need to work on:a. 6 animations (3 simpler ones, 2 complex, 1 3D)b. 7 artworks (3 main ones and 4 major/minor iterations)

...quite a few pieces to make it happen! Though it is not impossible, it means A LOT of work, and because of this, I think it would only be fair to start from the promised pieces (2nd stage of the animation) and, once that's finished, submit the whole first stage of the animation to a poll. This way, we shall be able to vote if they want to see the whole Karlach animation (stages  1 and 2) or switch to explore other characters! I personally think this might be the best of both worlds 🥰🥰🥰

Just to clarify, this is Stage two, me hearties!:

Please let me know what you think and if you are excited for this new format of making animations! This is how we are exploring animations in Soulgasm, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce these positive changes for my beautiful crew and sailors!!

Thank you so much for giving this cappy such a space for improvement and challenges; this really does warm my heart and gives me so much hope for what is yet to come. I am so excited to make this one, and the following ones to happen for you!!

Thank you for being there, me hearties! You are the best 🥰🥰🥰

YAARGG!!!
