This patreon is designed to get out the handbooks that expand the 20 spheres from Spheres of Power. However, whenever you get a bunch of good designers together, the ideas like to expand beyond their limits.

Currently, our team of awesome designers have two books that relate to Spheres of Power, but aren't part of the handbook lineup; a book of magic items, and a book that takes the Wild Magic drawback and creates custom tables for what can go wrong based on sphere, level, and an extensive list of feats and other augmentations.

These books are not part of the 20-handbook system that this patreon was made for, but they do relate to Spheres of Power, and our designers would love to put them in here for people to look at, playtest, and ultimately publish.

My question is, as the backers who make this project possible, would you like to see these books added to the playtest? Would you like to see these books published as part of this patreon?

Ilorin

Absolutely.

Bennett Selchow

Both sound good - the Wild Magic book sounds especially awesome. That drawback is so cool, but often feels really inappropriate when anything besides a fae-type wants to take it.

Andrew

Totes Awesome

Raquna

That would be really cool. I like the sound of the Wild Magic book.

Mat Burke

I would absolutely love to see more Spheres material published, and these two ideas both sound great

Brian Pitt

I personally backed this with the goal of improving Spheres of Power as a whole, not specifically for the sphere books, so I'm all in favor of these books being added.

Curtis Gibson

Any and all Spheres stuff is welcome.

David Williams

Generically speaking (all patreons), I'd like to know in advance what the next title is, so I can determine if I'm interested in it enough to support it. For Spheres of Power, I like the concept enough that I'm willing to support most tangents sight unseen as I believe they will ultimately improve the entire system even if there's nothing in them for me personally. For these two books specifically, I am definitely interested in seeing them developed and support adding them to the rotation.

Meemaas

Of course I'd love to see them come. I had thought that Gear of Power wouldn't be a thing until after all the Spheres were even done, to be honest, but would love to see it nonetheless.

Tim Malmström

Oh absolutely. More magic items is always fun.

Alex Hingstrum

I would love to see these additional books here!

Chris Brong

Same more Spheres is always wanted

Luthorne

I would like to see them added to the playtest as well as see them published as part of this patreon.

Andrew J Gibson

GoP probably won't be published until most of the handbooks are out. It's mostly a document where we put ideas that don't go anywhere else.

Meemaas

I was hoping that would be the case. Best place for more sphere specific gear lol

Jim Birrell

Absolutely. Happy to support this effort.

Amberkat

yes to both ;)

Phillip Ash

I would like to see them added to the playtest and to the published books we get through patreon :-)

Gear of Power interests me. A Wild Magic book seems... maybe just a bit too specific? Not a bad thing to publish, but it's not something that would see nearly as broad of use as everything else. So... yes to both for playtesting, and yes to Gears of Power for the Patreon, and maybe do the other one as a mini-Kickstarter?

TheDisgaean

As long as they don't interfere with the core sphere expansions, I don't see why not.

adam solis

Well for me the wild magic one is a must have, and the magic item book, I'd need to take a look at the playtest to see if it's a must have or not.

Eric Martinez

Yes to both, but I think Gears of Power will benefit more from 20 completed spheres to draw on and not have to errata.
