Hi all!

Welcome to the first day of our new theme as voted for by you: The Shattered Throne.

Over the next few weeks we shall be exploring the ancient ruined capital of Farnor, the once glorious capital of the Kingdom of Galdoria, long since fallen to ruin and decay.

Our first stop on our Farnor tour is the ruins of the Consular Palace.

Once the residence of the Galdorian Consul, the highest ranking civil official and second only to the monarch themselves, this palatial villa sits in the very heart of Farnor.

The opulence for which it was famed is now a decaying husk of past glory, its gardens over grown, its walls crumbling and valuables subject to the attentions of centuries worth of fool hardy looters.

Like the rest of Farnor, these ancient stones are beset by ghosts and phantoms, the cursed souls of the city's population that were trapped here during the Fall.

The gods only know what foul things live here now....

Farnor - Work in Progress

I thought you might also like to see my plans for the City of Farnor so below is a WIP of the city so far. As if last week we will aim to add more and more locations and detail as we go.

All suggestion are welcome!

The eagle eyed among you will already see that the Consular palace and our Arena have already made their way on to the map so that should give you some idea of scale.

A Certain Vintage

A wealthy noble contracts the party to retrieve a valuable wine that hasn't been seen in centuries. Since the fall the supply of Galdorian Red has all but dried up. The last remaining bottles are exceedingly valuable!

The noble knows one place where the party are sure to find some, Farnor, the haunted city. The party are offered a great rewards if they can travel to the consular palace and retrieve some.

A Stone Cold Lady

A monster hunter informs to party that an ancient terror lurks in the ruins of the old Consular Palace in Farnor, a medusa, a monster that killed his entire hunting party. He offers to the party gold and glory if they avenge his loss.

Records of Note

A aging scholar contracts the party and asks contracts them to escort her to Farnor, she seeks a certain text that is believed to contain the location of the lost heir of Galdoria. She warns that the journey will be perilous and the party will need to sneak into the city so as not to 'anger the ghosts'. Once at the library in the old consular palace she will attempt to locate the text.
