Hi guys!

Now that I am experimenting more and more with creating tokens, as a free bonus reward for some tiers, I thought I would ask you all which of the two main styles you would prefer to use in your games (not just the one you think looks better :D ).

Top Down Perspective or Angled Perspective (please see examples below)

As far as I can see the main selling points are as follows:

Angled Perspective

Pros

  • Arguably look better
  • Allows for more detail of the character such as face etc.
  • Less commonplace

Cons

  • Can look weird when rotated in a game board

Top Down Perspective

Pros

  • Fits more easily inside a square format
  • More flexible in terms of rotating

Cons

  • Limited detail

This is by no means an exhaustive list so if you have more pros and cons please pop them in a comment below.

The Big Question

So this is where we have a fork in the road, what is the style you would like me to continue to develop?

Sadly, as I will want the tokens to be consistent with one another going forward, I am only able to do one.

Please vote in the poll below for either:

Angled Perspective  - A style that is more unique and detailed.

Top Down Perspective - A style that is more practical for use in VTTs.
