I predicted WHERE this episode would take place, but DEFINITELY didn't see what happened coming!

Looks like Jinx has a (very small) team with her now. That isn't something I saw coming, but I am happy for her!

That scene with the Enforcers was so well done... 'our heroes' looked terrifying!

Oh Viktor... I am glad he is back but...

On to the next one! Love you, guys!!

This is my fav EP of all of Arcane so far. I love the Scientist trio, the Heimerdinger with his turret (in the game he uses those turrets) playing with the kids is adorable - his whole scenes are just amazing imho And love the Moses-Viktor, very pretty From all the Champions in Game that are in S1 and as well theorized to be in S2, I still always liked Jayce the most, but this very episode, tipped the scale. Viktor is now my fav. And just so you know, what ever we know how he looks ingame and even his lore, only serves as a guideline even to us, as it is known that he will get rework (following Arcane) meaning the Arcane-Viktor will be the one and only true canon Viktor.

This was such a unique episode!! I love the 'atmosphere' it gave to the Lines! I love Jayce, but very often... I CAN'T STAND HIM with his decisions! XD I am a Viktor man though and though!

I was so worried when season 2 was announced that they were not gonna be able to keep the same level of writing or that Netflix was gonna try to get more involved but this has been amazing so far

By the way, I love that Arcane poster you are using, with Jinx being the one to hold Vi who looks traumatised. It kind of sums this season up. But we'll get to that! And so we start with our beloved crazy girl! I love the side-by-side shots of when Silco "baptised" Jinx, and her letting him go and mourning him. In that episode where the two of them go into the water, Silco says he let go of a weak man, and came out something stronger. What will Jinx become as she gets out of the water here? Who is she now she has lost everyone around her? Well observed on the facial animation of Caitlyn in the first episode (and this continues too). We see them focus in on her teeth when angry, like she wants to bite out the cancer she feels is emanating from Zaun. Note we also see Jinx's mouth in close-up here and in the next episode, kind of connecting her to Caitlyn, as you observe. So well done. Seeing Jinx take out those goons to save the kid, then explain that almost dying is like a buzz; is both heartwarming and horrifying! Then seeing her deranged face on the wanted posters, she looks like some demented monster, as Piltover is painting her as. Then we get my team up, oh yes, my two favourites, Sevika and Jinx - and I was screaming round the house with glee!!! I loved Sevika from the off, and of course Jinx is by far the best character in a show full of great characters! That scene in the arcade where the enforcers headed by Vi is smoking out Jinx, is utterly terrifying. The poor kid seeing her sister represent them, taking her back to that night on the bridge when their parents were murdered, is brutal. No wonder she falls apart when she gets out and says "lets finish what's left of my family" - I can understand why after seeing that. Viktor always said he wanted to help people, but looking at him now, he looks less saint-like and more villainous with the power he's accruing. Again we can kind of see what path he might go down here, and they say the road to hell is lined with good intentions...

Jayce is very human, like they all are tbh, well Singed aside. He can think emotionally and irrationally, but he always had a solid moral compass. He just wanted to save his brother, and ends up pushing him away. He's relatable.
