Hey guys! Here is the latest of the Sponsored Movie Reactions! I should say straight away, I am currently not taking new ones as I have a bit of a backlog to get through, sorry! I'll let you know when we can do them again! :)

What an absolute TREAT! This was lovely, hilarious (and I MEAN hilarious) and a wonderful way to spend 2 hours! I had never even heard of this, but the cast were 100% perfect!Literally every performance was excellent, but the Step-mother was *chef's kiss. And this contains one of the funniest lines I have heard in a movie for a while! XDI really hope you enjoy the reaction as much as I did making it! :)Love you, guys! Have a great week!

Yay! I absolutely love this movie, not a fan of Disney Cinderella but ever after is fantastic. I do also enjoy the Hillary duff Cinderella story as well.

100% agree. Those and the live action Cinderella from I think the 90s are my favorites

I'm so glad someone sponsored this one, it's such a beautiful movie! I saw it when it first came out in theatres and have loved it ever since :) A note about the Brothers Grimm and Cinderella, just because I think fairy tales are cool--they generally didn't *create* the stories in their collection, they researched folk and fairy tales and published a compilation of their own tellings of those stories. Cinderella is one of the stories in Grimm's Fairy Tales, but it was a fairy tale that had been around for a long time, and there are other published versions. In the movie, the Grimm Brothers refer to "Perrault's telling, with its fairy godmother and magic pumpkins." Charles Perreault was a French writer who similarly collected folk and fairy tales and published his tellings of them. In the Grimm version, the source of the magic is an enchanted tree that grew over the grave of Cinderella's mother, with the implication that her mother's spirit is the force behind it, and the slippers are golden (and also the stepsisters cut off parts of their feet to try to fit into the slipper, as you mentioned!). Perrault's version is the one with the magic coming from a fairy godmother, a pumpkin being transformed into a carriage, and glass slippers. There are also very similar Cinderella-type stories from many other cultures around the world, going back many centuries! :)

Oooh I can't wait! Also I just had an epiphany, you should react to la la land if you havent watched it! It's one of my favorites but will change your life (I'm not gonna spoil anything tho lol)

There was a time when I watched this movie at least every other week on VHS, and yet I was today years old when I found out that Riff Raff is le Pieu I was absolutely in love with Jaqueline, still kinda am. She is just such a sweetheart! "there was a bee" is one of the funniest lines in cinema. Marguerites delivery is perfection. She is just so unhinged in this scene and I love it Veggie hears names like Danielle de Barbarac, Auguste, Jaqueline, Marguerite... also Veggie: I wonder if we're in spain 🤣 but seriously, whoever was the location scout did a phenomenal job. The scenery was so freaking gorgeous! I think Gustave has a point: the painting Leonardo did of Danielle is gorgeous, but doesn't really look like her... like there is some resemblence (especially the lips), but knowing what a skilled artist and how detail oriented he was? Could be better... and yes, I know it's based on a real da Vinci, still... I'm with Gustave on this one

6:43 is it not common knowledge anymore, on what "cinderella" is just another disneyfied version, and the original folktales are actually more grounded (also gruesome, there is a even a grimm version) ya know not so different from Little Mermaid for example
