Oh seeing this all build up to where its going in the next episode, is so tense. Vander doesn't want to start another war as it will cost them more than it will those topside who have it all. Vi listens to him and reluctantly decides that to prevent bloodshed, she'll give herself in, even if it means she'll have to leave Powder, who as we see, REALLY needs her...

(non-spoiler lore info) Professor Heimerdinger is a Yordle. That's his species. Ironically, they are an inherently magical species from the spirit realm. They have taken the form of the small furry bipedal creatures of varying features and some have even taken more amphibious forms. Being technically from another dimension, yordles do not procreate through genetics. That's why Heimy is 307. Since they are from the spirit realm and can be considered spirits, they do not age like humans, are possibly immortal, and don’t actually have to breathe. They are naturally peaceful, benevolent, jovial and social, but very impressionable by their environments. Yordles have a home name Bandle City which is a pocket dimension of the spirit world and only accessible to the yordles. To humans, Bandle City is more of a myth. Most yordles stay living in Bandle City, but they have portals from Bandle City to all parts of Runeterra. These portals have created more myths amongst humans as to how Yordles seem to be able to travel around Runeterra. Some humans even mistake yordles for vastaya, humanoid-animal creatures of different animal types, such as Ahri, a fox vastaya. The origin of yordles on this planet is unknown but they existed before civilizations in Runeterra’s prehistoric times. Because of this, their existence has been accepted by the other species of Runeterra and they have integrated with human society very flexibly. There live Yordles on all lands of Runeterra. Because they live so long, many Yordles like Heimerdinger have had long lives mainly amongst humans, away from the secluded dimension of Bandle City (I have no clue how connected Heimer is to his roots). Being social in nature, they are actually very attracted to different cultures of Runeterra and merge with those cultures to the point of excellence. In societies where Yordles would be less accepted, their magic innately creates a glamour around them that allows them to operate without prejudice. Heimer’s old lore had him using such a technique, but it is unclear if in Arcane it's still in use, or what the actual psychological effects such a magical illusion would have on others.

I agree, Vander and Grayson are great! It sadly seems like they're the only ones who realize that there's no real winner in war and that it only brings destruction😕 Also: I don't know how in hell you recognized that the corridor with the door was on the other side of the explosion. I've seen the show before and didn't even recognize it🙈😅 Mad props to you, it's always impressive on how much you pick up!
