One of these days Perfect Cell is gonna take it huh...

Comments

Jack Taylor

at the time of this comment, PERFECTION IS WINNING

Jack Taylor

good variety, i need to look some of them up.

604yue

His perfect butt is coming for me! I thought it'd take longer! D:

🐝~HoneyBri

Is it cheating to vote for the one I suggested? Cuz if it is THEN TOO BAD MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 😈😈😈

Tavish McFini

Out of curiosity, is there a limit to the number of options available?

604yue

I very much expected people to do so, haha!

604yue

It doesn't seem like it, but I kept it at 10 rather than going overboard. I see most other Patreon artists seem to keep options at around 5 or so, but I figure this would give more opportunities for people to see their favourites.

Tavish McFini

Makes sense, we'd be really spoiled for choice otherwise. (Okay McFini, SHIFT+Enter for line breaks... plain ENTER just submits the reply... I'll figure this out one of these days!!!) EDIT: I realise this may be more effort but... what about some sort of round-robin style of voting? Are there any platforms that could facilitate that?

Jack Taylor

*insert me laughing at the spicy image i know you didnt mean*

Jack Taylor

i suggested mordred, i am damn sure voting her

Jack Taylor

having looked up the unknowns. Mavuika is hot. but sadly there are others i want before her

Tavish McFini

I suggested Splash Woman. I have zero regrets. Okay, maybe one regret after discovering that we're really overwhelming poor Yue here!😅

Jack Taylor

i mean, i figure yue uses things like this and commissions to destress between comic pages

Jack Taylor

also, to be honest, if mordred loses i can just commission her at some point to still get some art. looked up Yue's commission prices, and am now just planning out the characters i want

Tavish McFini

Hehehe, I suppose that's another way to look at it. If we can't make out in the polls, there's always the commissions! Hope you're ready Yue! I suspect you're about to get more than a couple requests!😅

Jack Taylor

i found some old commissions i had done years ago and am now just figuring out who i want to have done again. (i promise, i'm not trying to be a tease, i'm just indecisive)

Tavish McFini

Coin flip? Or, if it's not a binary choice, d4? d6? d8? d10? d12? d20? d30? d100?

Chester

Bowsette sweep

Brady

Cell or Y’shtola

Jack Taylor

i know i want 2, deciding if i want any more

Jack Taylor

PERFECTION SHALL ALWAYS DEFEAT A SIMPLE CAT WOMAN

Jack Taylor

*puts the super crown on Cell*

Fenryka

Perfection comes for all of us~

Tavish McFini

Because I usually play the role of devil's advocate: yes, yes you want more! 🙃 (I kid!)

Jack Silver

can't deny i am a sucker for Evil if i vote for Bowsette.

604yue

Alas it looks like the Perfect one is falling short this time~

604yue

Yeah she's running away with it now huh

604yue

I think that might be a bit too much for this. I'd prefer to have it all on Patreon just to keep the barriers low for folks to vote! Also, the multiple choice thing is already pretty close I think.

604yue

It seems like you'd be in the majority lol!

Jack Taylor

"and so far Tavish, we have Bowsette in the lead at 45 votes. she's pulling ahead of the pack by a wide margin, but Y'shtola and Mordred are keeping a decent pace behind her. Perfect cell has dropped down to 4th place, but i think he's still in the running if there's a last minute upset." "Sadly a few of the contestants have seemingly bowed out of the competition early, but i saw we give them a big round of applause for joining and trying their luck." *applause ensues*

Tavish McFini

That's fair. Sorry, I'm used to espousing ideas/questions/advice no one ever asks for. As I frequently say in my (many) work meetings, "I'll go back on mute."

Tavish McFini

"It will take one heck of an upset to dethrone Bowsette at this stage in the game, Jack. "That being said, we can all be assured of one thing: no matter who wins, everyone here *knows* we're in for an absolute treat and I know we're all looking forward to it!"

Jack Taylor

"And now, on to commercial break."

Tavish McFini

"And we're back! "So here we are, a day after the polls closed and Bowsette has snatched victory with a whopping 58 votes of the 213 votes cast (which seems a bit strange because I know I voted for two candidates... so that really starts skewing things if someone voted for everyone, but, as usual, I digress, haha!) "Y'shtola comes a distant second with 27 votes, Mordred and Perfect Cell splitting third place with 25 votes and Raora Panthera coming in fifth with 24 votes! "It was a tough fought contest but, after taking such a commanding lead, it seems Bowsette was destined to take this one from early on! Jack, cue the music!" *Roundabout by Yes starts playing in the background, growing gradually in intensity* "Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination and for voting! It was a very fun poll and I hope everyone enjoyed it! I also hope everyone enjoys the pieces that come out of this month's poll!" *everything freezes and a "TO BE CONTINUED" arrow appears*

Jack Taylor

technically you'd say Panthera came in 5th, since 4th would *technically* be either cell or mordred (punts cell to 4th because i like mordred) but yeah, no surprise who won. Maybe someone will decide to commission perfection XD

Jack Taylor

oh crap, i forgot this was going

Jack Taylor

i could have scewed it slightly by unvoting someone!
