Important thing to know about Patreon is that their text editor is frankly subpar. And as you may know, I have been doing a bunch of colour, spacing or even text size editing with Hope. But not always and sometimes people like to just read from the app without having to deal with any more bs.I have certainly been there. The decision I have come to is this: I will fully edit the chapters into a PDF format which I will attach to the chapter and then copy paste the text into the Patreon post. Afterward, I will evaluate the differences between the 2 and post a small disclaimer before the chapter so that you, as a reader, can make an informed decision whether it's worth it to download the PDF and go through the struggle of opening an app to read it (I understand the struggle). The difference disclaimers could be something like:Minimal - Colours or highlighting for Names and stuff that is established missing on the text post.Small - Some formating problems, like being unable to center the poetic casting like I do on RR, or maybe many smaller things.Significant - I think that the PDF chapter is noticeably better due to text editing and would recommend you consume it that way.Large - There are major differences and I would highly recommend reading the PDF on this oneMassive - I think this chapter should absolutely be experienced in its full potential, meaning the PDF.Bonus content:Bonus content 1 - https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-content-1-79344852

Quick question, would it be possible for the PDFs to come in dark mode? I’ve grown used to reading the chapters in dark mode, but none of the automatic converters I’ve found have been any good, making it seem likely that it would need to be manually changed.

I use Acrobat Reader which has Dark Mode as an option (at least on Android, on Desktop-App try Preferences Accesibility, background => black, document text => other, 204/204/204, checkmark: chabge only black text)

PDF is the worst possible choice of format, poorly supported by book readers and converters. I tried multiple different python libraries and cli tools, trying to get a decent epub for kindle, without any luck (results had problems with absolute line positions, forced line breaks, etc). Epub or even plain html would be so much more convenient and universal.

Author I'm sorry but I feel.as if the patreon is not worth the monthly fee, I got it because I wanted to read more of your book but you actually post less often on here vs RR
