Man you’re so lucky, I had to wait 2 years for S6 after that cliffhanger! 😭 because I started this show when S5 aired. Btw the mint chip ice cream Jimmy told Kim to remove is a funny little detail because Jimmy was eating mint chip ice cream right before he got picked up by Nacho to meet Lalo for the first time earlier this season, so maybe Jimmy now associate mint chip ice cream with bad stuff now? I also love the tension when Lalo fought off the assassins (even on rewatch), he’s so fucking badass and cool, especially when he has the chance to escape but instead chooses to go back inside to kill the assassins. And finally, the look on Lalo’s face and the sound of him walking on the gravel slowly turning into the sound of thunder which signifies his rage is just utterly remarkable 💯🔥

The thing I love about Kim so much is that she's like a gaslighting queen. She mixes in the truth to bolden her version of events so even when she's in the wrong or lying I can't help but take her side; I think of when she took Jimmy's side against Chuck even when she knew Jimmy fucked the Mesa Verde address numbers for her. I think she's definitely in denial about how damaged Jimmy is and the severity of his treatment of Howard. But she's definitely being truthful when she brought up how insulting Howard attributing dropping Mesa Verde to Jimmy is. She makes her own choices (good or bad) and Howard attributing that to Jimmy is similar to what Chuck would do imo. All that to say she's a great character and Rhea Seehorn does an amazing job.
