The Batch is the Cavalry🔥 and with how secretive Hemlocks work was it was only the people on Tantiss that knew of Pabu and Omegas value

Nate

Please form your own opinion about The Acolyte. It's suffering from an ever-growing toxic fandom who seems to hate any diversity in "their" Star Wars (a franchise about mythical space monks who have magic powers and aliens are frequently main characters) and criticize it on the basis of politics rather than on the basis of the story it is telling or on how it relates to actual Star Wars lore. In terms of the lore, it is honestly the most interesting show I've seen since Clone Wars/Rebels. People also have a tendency to judge by each individual episode rather than the series as a whole, just like Andor, which due to social media leads to a lot of bad press. I strongly urge you to watch it and if it's not your thing, then fine, but please don't base your decision on online trends. I'm only a few years older than you, and I mostly stay away from social media for this reason - I don't need it poisoning my own thoughts. Sorry for the rant, long-time lover of you and your channel, keep it up!

idk if it fair to say the show is suffering from a toxic fan base from my exsperance alot of people have fair criticism alot of the times the minority are louder than the majority. though i do agree you should judge the show as a whole i rewtahced andor like 5 months after it came out once all the drama was gone and enjoyed it much more than first time watching

I think that's fair to a degree, but for example, I generally enjoy and am entertained by anything Star Wars regardless of its flaws, and thought The Book of Boba Fett was mediocre at best and downright boring or silly a lot of the time. Half of The Mandalorian season 3 seemed like it was just there to exist. I'll still watch them if someone wanted to over other shows I don't care about, but I'm sure you get my point. To your point of the vocal minority though - this show has almost 8,000 more audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes than any other Star Wars series ever, and a significant portion of them came either before or just after the premiere. I think it's fair to say that at least a statistically significant amount of these are from viewers who take issue with what they may interpret as politics being pushed or comments the creatives have made in interviews rather than anything to do with the actual story or its merits within the Star Wars universe. The same thing happened with the first Captain Marvel film as well as the Ms. Marvel series (which I believe is the highest- or second highest-rated MCU series that has been released), largely due to many viewers' issues with either comments made by people involved in the media, or because of pushing a female lead or someone who is considered a minority, at least in the US, as a lead and their culture. Sorry for the long response, this stuff just drives me crazy sometimes because like Andor, things get a bad rap because people are so reactionary with the age of social media rather than just letting a story unfold and they want to be upset about aspects that don't actually have anything too do with the story. So I agree with you but I think there's plenty of evidence that what I suggested is true to a degree.
